Fulbright IEA: What to Know and Tips for Applying

Presentation Description:

The Fulbright IEA award is a professional development opportunity for international education professionals to travel abroad on a fully funded program to learn about the educational systems of the host country and promote cultural exchange. This session will provide an overview of the available IEA programs, and alumni from 2024 programs in Japan and South Korea will share about their experiences. Presenters will also include tips and guidance for the application process.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will have an understanding of how to access fully funded professional development opportunities through the Fulbright IEA Seminars.
  • Attendees will understand the Fulbright IEA experience as shared by Fulbright IEA recipients who traveled to Japan and South Korea in 2024.
  • Attendees will understand eligibility requirements and know how to apply for their own IEA Seminar.
