Michelle has been the Director of ISSS, Interim Executive Director of the Office of International Affairs, Interim Director of Global Education, and Deputy Director of OIA and Director of ISSS at the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus. Michelle's professional experience includes international business, regulatory compliance, in-house counsel, and government affairs. She earned a B.A. in International Relations & Spanish from Mankato State University, an M.A. in International Economic Policy from The American University, and a J.D. from the University of Denver. Michelle is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
