Presentation Description:

The IEPD MIG celebrates 30 years of promoting disability inclusion, accessibility, and leadership at NAFSA and in international education - come celebrate with us! Whether you are passionate about increasing disability representation and access in international education, you are advising exchange participants with disabilities, you are a professional who identifies as having a disability - or any or all of the above! - you are invited. A facilitator will also share the latest free resources and initiatives from the National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange (NCDE).

Learning Objectives:

  • Hold space at the conference in support of disability inclusion, access, and leadership in international education programming and careers.
  • Celebrate a milestone anniversary of the IEPD MIG and the achievements of people with disabilities in international education through stories, materials, photos, and more.
  • Exchange resources for international educators to increase participation of people with disabilities in international education programming and careers.
