Presentation Description:

This interactive session offers strategies for enrollment managers to boost enrollment of international students from the Global South, the top source of international students for U.S. universities. In 2023, India overtook China as the leading sender of students, while African student numbers grew by 18%, the highest growth rate globally. Fort Hays State will share its processes for developing partnerships with Global South institutions and discuss challenges and solutions.

  • By the end of the session, participants will be able to identify some challenges in the process of developing academic partnerships with Global South institutions.
